About Us
Modern Linear, Inc. was founded by Steve Fulton in 2004. Steve has worked in the linear motion industry for over twenty years designing and selling all types of linear motion products. His experience includes working for industry leaders that produce ball bushings and profile rail technology, as well as Teflon bushings and guide rollers. This experience led Steve to start a company devoted to guide roller components and guide roller technology.
Modern Linear’s goal is to improve the performance of automated equipment. To achieve this, we develop products that offer superior longevity, improve machine performance, and lower operating costs. Our customer service goals are to always ship from stock or with the shortest manufacturing lead times in the industry. Our mission is to provide all of our customers with high quality, durable products, and outstanding customer service.

Wounded Warrior Project
Modern Linear products have been specified for a wide variety of machinery, including military equipment. We are grateful for this business and feel a responsibility to support our troops. Modern Linear donates a portion of our profits to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org. It goes without saying that the men and women who are wounded or killed fighting for the freedom of others make the most important and ultimate sacrifice. The same goes for the families of those who serve.
Semper Fi Fund
We are pleased to announce the addition of the Semper Fi Fund www.semperfifund.org for support of Veterans and their families. The Semper Fi Fund delivers much needed resources for post 9/11 combat wounded members of all branches of the US Armed Forces and their families. The Semper Fi Fund consistently receives an A+ rating from CharityWatch, one of only two veteran nonprofits to achieve this rating, and 7 consecutive 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator.
Team Rubicon (Disaster Response)
Modern Linear is very proud to support Team Rubicon. This unique veteran service organization provides help when and where is needed to areas around the world suffering from natural disasters. This disaster relief mission is carried out with military veterans. Beyond offering a helping hand in areas and times when it is much needed, Team Rubicon offers a continuing mission for Vets returning to civilian life who may have experiences challenges in the transition. These Veterans are the agents of the mission. This effort is extremely well organized and the results are measured for continuous improvements. Tunnel to Towers Foundation
Modern Linear is honored to support The Tunnel to Towers Foundations. T2T is committed to honoring our nation’s first responders and military heroes through a variety of programs. The Foundation’s goal is to ensure stability and security for those families facing sudden, tragic loss. The Smart Home Project builds mortgage-free smart homes for our most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders where each home is designed to address the unique needs of each individual. The Gold Star Family Home Program honors the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country by providing a mortgage-free home to surviving spouses with young children. Through the Fallen First Responder Home Program, T2T aims to pay off the mortgages of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty, or to 9/11 related illness, and leave behind young children. Operation BBQ Relief
Founded in May 2011 in response to a need for tornado relief efforts in Joplin, Missouri, competitive pit-masters from nine different states answered the call to feed displaced families and first responders. Together, they were able to serve over 120,000 meals in a 13-day period. This experience of building a network to feed individuals in need has been the inspiration for Operation BBQ Relief. To date, Operation BBQ Relief has provided over 9 million meals throughout the United States and internationally following natural disasters, COVID-19 response, and through The Always Serving Project, benefiting the homeless, first responders, veterans and members of the military.
