Modern Linear Guide Roller Bushings are designed for use with our standard, plain Guide Rollers. They mount in the bore of the roller and act as a standoff as well as add adjustability when integrated in a linear system.
Stationary and adjustable bushings should be used as companions where rollers on opposite sides of a linear system can be adjusted against one another. When possible the system design should allow the concentric rollers to carry the majority of the load and the adjustable bushings control the fit of the sliding mechanism (carriage) to the track (rail). Guide Roller Bushings allow for the use of any type or length of fastener which gives flexibility to the overall system design. Standard bushings are made from 12L14 steel with electroless nickel plating. 303 stainless and low head versions are also available from stock.
